4th of July schedule of events:

• 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Delaware Children’s Museum
  Fourth of July Block Party, with story time, a patriotic parade and other activities
• 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – DuPont Environmental Education Center (free admission) 
  Kids get to meet marsh wildlife, make crafts, and practice pond netting
• 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.– $1.00 River Taxi Rides
  Take a relaxing guided tour of Wilmington’s Cristina River
• 4:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.– Free Red, White & Blue Party (Tubman-Garrett Park) Amusement park rides, games, arts, crafts and historical characters are on offer, along with favorite July 4th food vendors, plus a pie-eating contest!
• 8:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.– Delaware Symphony Orchestra and Maestro David Amado
  Enjoy a 75-minute concert of patriotic musical selections
• 9:45 p.m.– Spectacular Fireworks Display on the Riverfront!
